President Bush To Visit Fort Carson Soldiers
Trip Planned Monday, Station Says

DENVER -- President George W. Bush is coming to Colorado, 7NEWS confirmed Tuesday.
Bush will visit troops at Fort Carson Nov. 24, the station said.
There were no additional details about his visit, according to the station, and the White House had not yet issued a formal announcement. A spokeswoman for Fort Carson confirmed the visit, 7NEWS reported.
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld visited troops at Fort Carson in October.
Fort Carson has sent more than 12,000 troops to Iraq. At least 27 soldiers from Fort Carson have died in Iraq since the war began, and a memorial service was already planned for Nov. 24 for one of the soldiers killed recently.
