Teen Driver Charged In Fatal Accident
Car Plunged Off Sheridan Boulevard Oct. 2

A Westminster, Colo., teenager has been charged with careless driving resulting in death and violation of her temporary learner's permit following an Oct. 2 accident near Westminster High School that killed a 15-year-old girl.
Nau Lor died in the crash. She was riding with four other students in a four-door Honda when it swerved off Sheridan Boulevard and landed upside down in a pedestrian parkway about 8 feet below the road (pictured, left).
The accident happened in the 7600 block of Sheridan as the five teens were heading back to school after eating lunch. It was not known why the car swerved off the road.
The 15-year-old girl who was driving had a learner's permit, according to police. The permit requires that she can only drive when there is an adult in the front seat.
Kabila Yang will make her first court appearance Dec. 19 in Jefferson County Court.
