Woman Escapes Assault By Biting Attacker's Finger
CU-Boulder Police Search For Suspect

BOUDER, Colo. -- A female student was attacked on the University of Colorado at Boulder campus over the weekend, and now Boulder police are looking for the man responsible.The victim was walking home near Kittredge Field when she said a man grabbed her from behind and tackled her. On the ground, the man attempted to cover her mouth with his hands, she said.The woman got away by biting one of the attacker's fingers, causing him to get up and run away, police said. She then got up and ran in the opposite direction, where she encountered two people who took her to safety and called the police.
She described her attacker as a man, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thick build, dark hair and no glasses.If you have any information about this incident, call the University Police Investigations at 303-492-8168.
