DENVER -- University of Colorado football fans will get an eyeful Saturday when they look into the sky over Invesco Field in Denver.A plane towing a "CU Sucks, Go Rams!" banner is scheduled be flying over the stadium. The plane is courtesy of Poor-Sport.com, a website that sells merchandise and lets customers accumulate points that can be applied toward hiring a plane for a sporting event.
In the CU/CSU Rocky Mountain Showdown, CSU fans accumulated 5,000 points to get the plane in the air. A similar effort by CU netted only 535 points, according to the Poor-Sport.com website.Even if CU fans could raise enough points to get a plane, it takes two weeks notice to set the stunt up, according to the website. There's no word on what CU football fans might be planning as payback.
