A 2-year-old is in critical condition after being hit by a Hummer in the parking lot of car wash.

Colorado Springs police said the boy was with his dad at the car wash on South Academy Boulevard when he was hit by the Hummer Tuesday evening.

No charges are anticipated against the Hummer driver, Kaylin Warren, 22, according to the police report.

Police said the boy was taken to the hospital with a head injury. His name is not being released.

KKTV reported the boy wandered away from his father while the dad was vacuuming out a car.

A boy, 3, was hit and killed at a car wash in Pueblo in August.

In the incident, Ruben Colmenares was playing with his brother behind the vacuums when a driver pulled into the parking lot. KRDO-TV reported the driver saw one boy and swerved to miss him, but hit the second child.
