ARVADA, Colo. -- A woman in Arvada wants to know who took 150 gnomes from her yard this week.

Mardean Gibson has been collecting gnomes for five years. She uses them as decoration in her yard.

When she went to bed Tuesday night, she said the gnomes were outside. When she woke up Wednesday morning, she told 7NEWS most of the gnomes were gone.

"Somebody came up on my property and took something that belonged to me," Gibson told 7NEWS.

Gibson said she thinks the gnomes are cute and they made her yard look nice.

She said she doesn't want to buy more because she's afraid the thieves will return.

"I miss every single one of them because I love them all," said Gibson.
