GREELEY, Colo. -- Memorial services are planned this week for two women who died after a pickup truck crashed into a Visionworks store at the Greeley Mall. The crash Saturday killed 32-year-old Kimberly Fletcher and 23-year-old Jennifer Hudgens. Hudgens was a store employee and Fletcher was a customer. A memorial service for Fletcher is scheduled for Friday in Haynes City, Fla. A service for Hudgens will be held Thursday afternoon in Pueblo.
Authorities are investigating whether a medical condition caused 29-year-old Peter Wesley Lain of Evans to slam into the store. Lain was released from the hospital Monday. He issued a statement saying he is "deeply saddened" by what happened.
