Homebuilt Aerobatic Plane Crashes, Burns Near Peyton
Pilot Escapes Unharmed

PEYTON, Colo. -- A small plane crashed and burned at Meadow Lake Airport near Peyton on Monday morning, but the pilot escaped unharmed.The plane, described as a two-seat Bushby Mustang 2 aerobatic kit aircraft, crashed during landing and ended up about 50 feet from a large fuel tank.The fire was extinguished before it could spread to the tank.
No information on the pilot has been released.
