Denver School Among 3 Finalists For Obama Commencement Speech
President Will Announce Selection On May 4

DENVER -- The Denver School Of Science And Technology is one of three schools still in the national running to have President Barack Obama speak at their commencement ceremony.The finalists have already made it through a few rounds of competition.Our hometown favorite scored enough votes to make it this far, from people voting on the white house web site.
Before that, the school had to submit answers to essay questions, a video and information about its programs and why the president should speak there.The president will announce his pick on May 4.The other two schools still in the running are Clark Montessori Jr. & Sr. High School in Cincinnati, Ohio And Kalamazoo Central High School in Kalamazoo, Mich.
