Home Invasion Involving Medical Marijuana Reported
Men Dressed In Black Tie Up Residents

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- The Larimer County Sheriff's Office is investigating a home invasion robbery involving medical marijuana.According to the sheriff's office, several armed men dressed in all black entered a home in 600 block of East County Road 70 in Wellington in the early morning hours on March 12 and confronted the occupants.The men tied up the residents then ransacked the home, taking several items including medical marijuana and guns.
The robbery wasn't reported until just before 1 p.m. on Friday.Investigators said the motivation for the crime appears to be the fact that the residence was a medical marijuana establishment.
