Colorado Winner Matched 5 Of 6 Numbers, Selected Power Play

DENVER -- One lucky ticket sold in Wheat Ridge won $1 million in Saturday’s Powerball drawing. The ticket holder earned the $1 million prize by matching five of six numbers and selecting the Power Play option.The ticket was purchased at Farmers Market Company, 9491 W. 44th Ave. The store will receive $3,000 for selling the $1 million-winning ticket.There was one other ticket that matched five numbers in Saturday’s drawing. Because the ticket holder did not choose Power Play, that ticket is worth $200,000. It was purchased at 7-Eleven, 4040 E. 8th Ave., Denver.
One ticket sold in New Jersey matched all six numbers in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, winning a $211.7 million jackpot. The winning numbers were: 6, 16, 20, 31, 36 and Powerball number was 8.The Powerball for Wednesday’s jackpot will be $20 million.
