Father Arrested In 6-Week-Old Baby's Injuries
Anton Bogachov Held On $25K Bond

GOLDEN, Colo. -- A Jefferson County father is under investigation after doctors said his 6-week-old daughter suffered a broken rib and head injury.Investigators were contacted after the parents of the child brought the infant to The Children's Hospital in Aurora on March 8, because she was throwing up and had a seizure. The parents told doctors they thought she had the stomach flu.Doctors said they found a broken rib that was healing, and fluid on the brain from a head injury. That's when they contacted the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Thursday, investigators with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office interviewed the parents and arrested Anton Bogachov, 23, on suspicion of child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury.Bogachov was jailed on a $25,000 bond and is due to appear in court on March 18.Click here to read the Bogachov Arrest Affidavit>
