3-Alarm Fire Breaks Out In Springs Apt. Building

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A three-alarm fire broke out at an apartment complex Thursday in north-central Colorado Springs.The fire was reported at about 11:40 a.m. in a second-floor apartment of a three-story building near the intersection of Vickers Drive and Academy Boulevard.The blaze was burning at the Berkshire Apartments on Innsbruck Place.
Residents were evacuated from the building.It took firefighters about two hours to bring the blaze under control.
