CENTRAL CITY, Colo. -- Wanna buy a casino? One that comes with a hotel too?The owner of Fortune Valley Hotel & Casino in Central City has been trying to find a buyer for the property since last August, according to the Denver Post newspaper.The selling price was not disclosed.
The casino owner, Centaur, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last weekend. Centaur owns a racetrack and casino in Indiana and is building another racetrack and casino in Pennsylvania.Fortune Valley has more than 900 slot machines and 119 hotel rooms.
