Sexual Assault Investigated At UNC Dormitory
Police Assure Community There's No Threat On Campus

GREELEY, Colo. -- University of Northern Colorado police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred at a campus dormitory Monday night.Police stressed that the suspect was a male, non-student who was acquainted with the victim. The man left before police arrived.“We want to assure everyone that there is no threat to students, and our police are working with other departments to find the suspect,” university spokesman Nate Haas told the Greeley Tribune.
The incident was reported about 11:30 p.m. Monday at Sabin Hall. Police continued to search for the suspect Tuesday, the Tribune reported.Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call the UNC police at (970) 351-2245.
