Police: Slow Burglars Caught In The Act
Officers Arrived While Suspects Were Inside Home

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Police officers investigating a home burglary ended up catching the suspects as they were leaving.Officers were called to a home on Bison Ridge Drive in Colorado Springs at 10:47 a.m. Thursday. While the officers were there, they confirmed two people were still inside the home.The officers watched the home. Within minutes, they spotted a car driving out of the garage. Officers grabbed one man trying to get into the car and arrested him. The car then drove off.
An alert went out for the vehicle and officers arrested the second suspect on Centennial Boulevard in Colorado Springs.Police said items taken during the burglary were recovered from both suspects.
