Soldiers Arrested In 2 Separate Incidents

DENVER -- Two Fort Carson soldiers were arrested Saturday night in incidents involving guns near Colorado Springs nightclubs.In the first arrest, two police officers on patrol near Club Syn during closing time saw "a disturbance brewing," reported KRDO.One officer saw a man, later identified as Terence Henry, 28, get into his car, get an object, and start heading back to the club. When the officers called to Henry, he refused to stop and was forcibly detained.
Police said they found a gun in Henry's pocket and arrested him on charges of obstruction of a police officer, carrying a concealed weapon and prohibited use of a weapon. He has been released to the Army Provost Marshal's Office.In the second incident, police patrolling the alleys around the Sodos nightclub saw two men walking around the alley headed to the club.Listening to their conversation, the officers began to suspect that they had hid something near a vehicle, police said. When the officers questioned one of the men, they discovered the two had just hid two .45-caliber handguns, said a police representative.Police arrested one of the men identified as Robdrick Robinson, 21, on charges of possession of a firearm while intoxicated. He was released to the Army Provost Marshal's Office.The second man left the area before police could question him.
