Infant In Hospital For Abuse Dies, Parents Charged
Police: Infant's Injuries 'Severe'

DENVER -- Denver police said a severely injured infant has died, four days after his parents were arrested on suspicion of child abuse.Police said the infants injuries were "severe" and "were consistent with physical abuse." Police haven't released the infant's name or any details of the injuries.The parents, identified as Travis Anderson, 26, and Crystal Eccleston, 27, were arrested and face charges of child abuse resulting in death, said Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson.
The parents remain in jail. It's not known whether they have attorneys.
