COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A woman purportedly selling magazines door-to-door was stabbed during an altercation with a Colorado Springs homeowner Tuesday night.Two women went to the home on Petersburg Court, west of Peterson Road and Constitution Avenue at about 8:20 p.m., and got into an altercation with the homeowner, said Lt. Lari Sevene, El Paso County Sheriff’s spokeswoman.Sevene said two women may have been trying to steal from the house when they went to the door Tuesday night and a fight erupted.
The homeowner pulled a knife, and one of the women and the homeowner were injured, Sevene said. Neither person's injuries appeared to be life-threatening. The women fled in a van driven by a man. Police stopped the van, took the injured woman to the hospital and took a man and woman into custody. No names have been released.
