Grieving Families Complain To BBB About Cemetery
BBB Has Received 5 Complaints This Year

LONGMONT, Colo. -- The Better Business Bureau is investigating a cemetery after numerous complaints.The BBB has received five complaints this year about Longmont-based cemetery, Foothills Gardens of Memory. Officials with the BBB said in a news release this complaint data is very unusual for a cemetery, as this type of business is not known for having consumer complaints.Most of the complaints allege that grave markers have been paid for in full but never installed. Other complaints allege improper installation and the company’s failure to repair.
The BBB said it contacted the company in November in an effort to meet and discuss the pattern of complaints and getting responses to them. The company never responded to the meeting offer and has yet to respond to or resolve complaints on file.
