Judge Bans Couple From Having Contact With Son
Thalley Accused Of Shooting 3-Year-Old Son, Then Lying

DENVER -- A father accused of shooting his 3-year-old son cried during his court appearance Tuesday morning.William Thalley and his wife, Nicole Fernandez, appeared in a Denver courtroom where the judge set Thalley's bond at $275,000 and set her bond at $150,000.Thalley whispered "I'm sorry" to someone in the courtroom as he walked up to the podium to face the judge.
The judge banned the couple from having contact with their 3 year old son.The boy was shot in the leg at his home near Morrison Road and Lowell Sunday night. He is expected to be fine.The mother and father are accused of lying about what happened -- saying that their boy had been shot by an unknown Hispanic man.Thalley, 29, was arrested for child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury. Fernandez was arrested on charges of accessory to child abuse,
