Man Killed Crossing Commerce City Highway
Driver Says He Had Green Light

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. -- A man was hit and killed Monday night while crossing busy Highway 85 in Commerce City.According to police, the death was reported at 10:14 p.m. at East 69th Avenue and Highway 85.The man, whose identity has not been released, was found lying in the intersection.
The driver of a pickup told police that he had the green light and the pedestrian walked out in front of him.Police said their investigation is continuing.
