Colorado Springs police officers investigating an explosion in a neighborhood Sunday found two explosive devices, commonly known as dry ice bombs.

Police said one device had already functioned, and one was still intact in the middle of the cul-de-sac.

Patrol officers established a perimeter and arrested six teenagers ages 18 to 19 years old. All were cited for a misdemeanor, incendiary or explosive devices.

Bomb technicians were brought in to remove the devices. Police said the technicians were attempting to remove the devices in a procedure called "remote render safe" when the second device exploded.

No one was hurt and no property was damaged.
