NORTHGLENN, Colo. -- Police in Northglenn said a pedestrian was killed when he was hit by at least five vehicles as he tried to cross Interstate 25. Investigators said 23-year-old Shane King of Thornton was killed at about 10:55 p.m. Saturday while trying to cross the interstate in the 11600 block.Accident investigators closed the southbound lanes until 2:45 a.m. Sunday to look for evidence. The area is southwest of the Northglenn City Hall and the police department.
Police said all the drivers involved have been interviewed. It was unclear whether any charges are planned. Police said they are awaiting the results of toxicology tests on the victim. They also asked that anyone who might have seen what happened to contact the Northglenn Police Department at 303-450-8959.
