Passerby Finds Body Lying Near Dumpster In Alley

DENVER -- The body of a woman was found in northeast Denver Thursday morning and police said she was shot in head.Police said a passerby found the woman's body lying next to a Dumpster in the 4300 block of an alley between York and Josephine streets about 10:30 a.m.The woman's identity and cause of death awaits confirmation by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
On Wednesday, a man's body was found in an alley in the Ballpark neighborhood on Wednesday. Police said he also appeared to have been shot to death.
