Man Accused Of Robbing Banks In Grand Junction

DENVER -- A federal grand jury has indicted a Las Vegas man in connection with two bank robberies in Grand Junction, Colo. Federal prosecutors said Friday that Douglas Edward James is being held on suspicion of two counts of bank robbery and one count of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence. The indictment alleges James robbed one bank on July 17 and another on Oct. 21.
It was not immediately known if he has a lawyer.
