A missing 12-year-old Denver boy was found unharmed early Wednesday.

Denver police said the boy was found hiding in a laundry room of an apartment complex near his school at about 4 a.m. and reunited with his family.

Ghassane Elmouhaddar was last seen around 3:30 p.m., Monday, leaving his house near South Monaco Parkway and East Bayaud Avenue.

Police searched all night for the boy and even drained a nearby pond on Tuesday during their search. They said the case will be treated as a runaway.
