Pipe Bombs Found In Deadly Crash
Victim Thrown 32 Feet from Vehicle

PAGOSA SPRINGS, Colo. -- A man who crashed his truck near Pagosa Springs was carrying firewood and two pipe bombs, according to the Durango Herald newspaper.Eino W. Murrietta, 53, was driving a red 2001 Toyota Tacoma northbound on Colorado Highway 151 toward Pagosa when he lost control, swerved and rolled the vehicle, Colorado State Patrol Sgt. Ben Stuever told the newspaper. Murrietta died.Inside the vehicle, the newspaper reported authorities found firewood and two pipe bombs. The Farmington Police Department Bomb Squad was called and detonated the pipe bombs on scene.
The Durango Herald also reported that Murrietta's home went into foreclosure July 30, and the deed reverted back to Wells Fargo last week. Murrietta's wife is a former employee of Wells Fargo.
