DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. -- A Charter school teacher is facing allegations that she had a sexual relationship with a student throughout his high school years.

Police arrested 44-year-old Linda Trabucco at her home in Douglas County Wednesday night. Trabucco teaches at Collegiate Academy, a Jefferson County charter school.

The male student, who is now 21 years old, said the relationship began when he was a freshman at Collegiate Academy and turned sexual in 2003. He made the report to police on Aug. 13.

The student making the allegations said the relationship ended two years ago.

Allegations have been made that a second teenaged male may have had a relationship with Trabucco during that same timeframe.

However, investigators said they have no information indicating that the teacher has been involved with recent students of the school.

The school said Trabucco taught English and was an assistant principal. She is currently on paid administrative leave.

Trabucco is currently in the Jefferson County Jail, with a $50,000 bond, for investigation of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust.
