Authorities say a Colorado man has been cited on suspicion of reckless driving after allegedly running over a boy at a western Nebraska camp site and injuring him.

Three-year-old Kevin Ostarkov of Denver was playing near his family's camp site at Lake McConaughy on Monday when another member of the camp accidentally backed a station wagon over him, Keith County Attorney Blake Edwards said.

Edwards said Alexander Kayrevich of Commerce City, Colo., was cited in the accident that left the boy with broken bones, including a skull fracture.

The boy was taken to Children's Hospital in Aurora for treatment. He was listed in serious condition Wednesday evening.
