UNC Launches Independent Investigation Into Professor

Reports: Officials Knew Of Fulkerson's Behavior And Didn't Respond

The University of Northern Colorado has launched an independent investigation into allegations that a music theater professor videotaped people using the bathroom in his home.

Greeley police arrested Raymond Vance Fulkerson last week on complaints of sexually exploiting children and unlawful sexual contact.

Since then, some UNC students have come forward to the media saying they reported other sexually inappropriate behavior on the part of the professor, but the university did little about it.

The university released a statement that said "personnel matters are confidential," but that the university does not accept or condone the alleged behaviors.

Fulkerson has been placed on administrative leave.

UNC has hired an independent investigation firm, Mountain State, to investigate the allegations involving the professor.
