Prosthetic Ear Among Finds During Winter Park Cleanup

WINTER PARK, Colo. -- A cleanup crew of 70 people is working to pick up trash and other items left on the ski slopes at Winter Park, after the snow melted.So far, they've found numerous tubes of Chapstick, lots of water bottles and change.The most unusual find so far is a prosthetic ear that was found under the Super Gauge chairlift.
In the past, cleanup crews have found a mattress, clothing, ski poles, lift tickets and assorted random items, including batteries.The cleanup crews were working on 26 trails Wednesday.The crews do their first cleanup early in the summer and then later in the summer, they walk the ski trails again and pick up additional trash.
