It sounds like the start of a joke-- A Pepsi-craving bear walks into a bar -- but in this case it's true.

A bear walked through the back door of the Dusty Boot in Beaver Creek Monday night.

The bear ripped apart Pepsi and Dr Pepper boxes, drinking about 25 pounds of Pepsi syrup, according to Glenwood Springs Independent newspaper.

After her drinking binge, the bear went down the hall to the kitchen where she encountered a dishwasher. The bear got spooked, turned around and left the way she came in.

The restaurant manager told the newspaper the bear and her cubs had been seen earlier hanging out in front of the restaurant.
