2 Hurt During Fight Through Broken Window
Police: Attempted Burglary Ends With 2 Sent To Hospital

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. -- Deputies from the Boulder County Sheriff's office are investigating a bizarre fight through a broken window that involved friends.The fight happened at a mobile home park on Arapahoe Avenue at approximately 12:30 a.m. Monday.Investigating deputies said it appears three men went to a trailer and attempted to get in by breaking a window. At the time there were six men in the trailer.
As the group tried to get in through the broken window, two of the people inside started punching at the would-be burglars through the broken window.The sheriff's office said at least two people were injured by the broken glass in the window. The two men were taken to Boulder Community Hospital for treatment. One victim was treated and released, and the other required surgery.Deputies are still investigating. A news release said all the people involved in the altercation were acquaintances.
