A search and rescue team is in contact with a man who got lost near Milk Reservoir in the Buffalo Park area but have not been able to rescue the man because they don't have enough volunteers.

Routt County Search and Rescue is trying to launch a joint mission with Grand County to recover the man.

Darrel Levingston told the Steamboat Pilot rescuers are in contact with the lost hiker.

"He is cold and wet but otherwise OK," Levingston told the Pilot.

Rescuers said the man left his wife at their campsite around 9:30 a.m. and got lost.
