Robber Sprays Woman In Face With Hot Sauce

DENVER -- Colorado Springs police are looking for three men who robbed a woman by spraying hot sauce in her face Friday.Police said the woman had just got out of her car in the parking lot of EZ Check Cast on South Circle Drive at about 9 a.m. when three men came up to her.One of the men was holding a toy pistol and shot her in the face with the hot sauce, causing minor burning to her face and arm, police said.
The robbers then grabbed her purse and drove away in a green Honda that police said is reported stolen from Denver.A witness to the robbery followed the men and told police she saw the men trying to break into a white Jaguar.The witness honked her horn at the men. Startled, they got back into the Honda and drove away, the woman told police.Detectives are investigating the case. No suspect information has been released.
