Man Charged In Wife's Slaying
Police Say Man Stabbed Wife To Death

DENVER -- A 28-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, prosecutors said Wednesday.Police said Lee Hood got into a fight with his wife, Audry Nunez, and stabbed her.A family member heard the fight and called 911. When police arrived, both Hood and Nunez had knife wounds, said Denver District Attorney spokeswoman Lynn Kimbrough.
Both were taken to a local hospital. Nunez later died at the hospital.Hood remains in custody in the Denver County Jail where he is being held without bond.
