BOULDER, Colo. -- Police have recovered and returned two 20-gallon barrels of marijuana to a medical marijuana dispensary in Boulder that was robbed last week.Police said that on June 16, two suspects forced a woman who worked at the New Options Wellness Clinic to move through the office while they took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and fled with the 20-gallon tubs and some surveillance equipment.Four men were arrested shortly after the robbery. All are scheduled to have preliminary hearings on July 6.
David Henderson, 40, of Denver, Walter Carter, 21, of Aurora, Lamare McGee, 22, of Lakewood, and Justin St. John, 29, of Denver, face charges including robbery, conspiracy and second-degree kidnapping, according to the Daily Camera.The wellness clinic said it is tightening security and making operational changes to prevent other robberies.
