Jury selection is under way for a former gay porn star accused of killing a man in Denver.

Police said Timothy Boham, 27, intended to rob John Kelso, 43.

Kelso was found dead Nov., 13, 2006 in his home. He had been shot to death. A cleaning person found Kelso's body in the bathtub of his Congress Park home.

Boham used the stage name Marcus Allen to star in a series of adult films from 2004-2005, according to Wikipedia.

Police are investigating the relationship between Boham and Kelso.

Boham had previously worked for Kelso. He told police he needed cash to support his then-pregnant girlfriend.

After the slaying, Boham fled to Mexico. U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested him at a border crossing in Arizona.

According to the CBP, officers working the pedestrian inspection area noticed a man loitering just outside the inspection facility on U.S. soil. Officers approached the man and identified themselves and said the man told them he was wanted on a murder warrant.
