FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- A $10,000 reward was offered Tuesday as searchers said they have no new clues in the disappearance of a missing 20-year-old University of Northern Colorado student.
Lacy Miller's mother and stepfather live in Fort Collins and searchers were continuing to look for any trace of the coed for a second day. Her father, David Miller, lives in Greeley, Colo.
Miller was last seen by her friend, Meryl Cooper, when Miller dropped her off at Cooper's apartment near the CSU campus in Fort Collins around 1:30 Saturday morning. Cooper saw Miller drive away and didn't notice anything unusual, police said. The apartment is about a five-minute drive to Miller's house.
Miller's locked car was found later Saturday, parked two houses down from her mother's home in Fort Collins. Family members told police that Miller only parked on the driveway or in the garage.
Police searched the car and found that Miller's purse was also missing. A bloodhound failed to find any trail from the car, which could indicate that she got into another car after stepping out of hers.
Police towed and impounded her car and were processing it for any potential evidence.
The UNC sophomore didn't show up for her regular Saturday work shift at Jim's Wings in Fort Collins.
David Miller told the Greeley Tribune that police now believe foul play was involved.
"They're telling me they are convinced there is criminal involvement in Lacy's disappearance," Miller told the Tribune.
Fort Collins police, however, said Tuesday that there is still no evidence of foul play and the investigating is still being handled as a missing persons case.
Police have been watching her cell phone and credit cards but have reported no activity on them since Miller disappeared.
A forensic computer expert was processing Miller's personal computer for any potential leads. Police have also questioned Miller's friends and men that she dated.
In the meantime, the family continues to post flyers asking for information about her in Fort Collins and Greeley. A group of Miller's friends are also taking the flyers up Highway 287 to Wyoming and other friends took the flyers up Highway 85 from Greeley to Wyoming.
Anyone with information about Miller should contact the Fort Collins Police Dept.
