School Library Staffer Accused Of Relationship With Student
Rodriguez Also Coached Soccer At Lake Middle School

DENVER -- A 31-year-old man who worked in the library of a Denver middle school was charged Wednesday with having a sexual relationship with a student.Roberto Rodriguez worked as a para professional and was a girls soccer coach at Lake Middle School, said Lynn Kimbrough with the Denver District Attorney's Office.The charges alleged that Rodriguez began having a sexual relationship with a female student last December.
School administrators learned of the relationship and called police to report it. Rodriguez was arrested on March 11 on charges of sexual assault on a child and sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.He is being held in the Denver County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
