GOLDEN, Colo. -- A Greeley soccer coach is under arrest in an Internet luring bust involving the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office.

District Attorney Investigator Mike Harris arrested 28-year-old Oscar Herrera Thursday morning on suspicion of Internet luring of a child and attempted sexual exploitation of a child.

Herrera is an assistant coach for the girl’s varsity soccer team in Greeley, District Attorney Scott Storey said. This is the 19th arrest so far this year for Storey's Child Sex Offender Internet Investigation Unit, he said.

The investigation began in September 2008 when Herrera began online communication with someone he believed to be an under-aged teen, Storey said. The person Herrera believed to be an under-aged teen was actually Harris.

According to the arrest affidavit, Herrera is alleged to have engaged in sexually graphic conversation with the "teen." He also asked the "teen" to send him "naughty pics" and discussed meeting in person, Storey said.

Herrera, a father of two, was booked into the Jefferson County Detention Center. He will be held without bond until his court appearance Friday.

The district attorney has until Feb. 24 to file formal charges.
