7Everyday Hero Has Raised Thousands For Howard Dental Center

Good dental health can be a life-saver, especially for people with HIV and AIDS. But many dentists refuse to treat patients with HIV.Howard Dental Center in Denver has been serving Coloradans living with HIV and AIDS since 1994. This week's 7Everyday Hero serves as Secretary of the Board at Howard Dental Center, but he is best known for his fundraising efforts.Since 2001, John Serfling has raised more than $90,000 for the Colorado Aids Walk. He has raised nearly $30,000 for Howard Dental.
"A lot of our patients here - because of the nature of the disease - cannot work, so they don't have money for dental care, because is not entirely inexpensive.
