UPDATED: 10:14 am MST February 10, 2009

A Boulder man was injured just after midnight while trying to play "chicken" with oncoming cars, the Colorado Daily reported.

The man, whose identity was not released, was found bleeding on the pavement in the 2500 block of 30th Street at about 12:30 a.m.

Police had gone to the location after a motorist called 911 to report a man jumping on the hoods of moving cars, according to the Daily.

The man jumped from one moving car to another, shattering the windshield of the second vehicle, police said.

He was taken to Boulder Community Hospital and ticketed for interfering with a vehicle in the road. The extent of his injuries weren't clear.

Police said they had reports he had been drinking with friends at a bar before the incident.
