HARTFORD, Conn. -- A former Navy sailor, now living in Colorado, has pleaded guilty to downloading child pornography to a computer at a submarine base in Groton, Conn. Twenty-four-year-old Christopher Allen House, who currently lives in Golden, Colo., appeared in Hartford federal court on Tuesday. He pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child pornography and faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,00 when he is sentenced April 28. NCIS investigators say they searched a desktop computer in House's barracks in July 2006 and found between 10 and 150 images of children younger than 12 engaged in sex acts.
Prosecutors said House admitted to downloading the pornography from the Internet.
