Man With Crowbar Robs Burger King Near Police Station

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Colorado Springs police are investigating a robbery in which the culprit used a crowbar to break a window to get inside.The police report said the drive-through of the Burger King on North Academy Boulevard was open about 11 p.m. Monday, but the dining room was not.The robber allegedly used a crowbar to break the glass to the dining room area, entered the restaurant, threatened the employees with a crowbar and demanded money.
The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.No vehicle was seen.No injuries were reported.The restaurant is across the parking lot from a Colorado Springs police substation.The robber is described as an Asian malein his mid 20s, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches, with an average build and black hair tied in a ponytail. The robber was wearing a black leather coat, blue jeans and a dark bandana over his face.
