DENVER -- A search is under way in Weld County for a parole violator who jumped from a moving vehicle as it was being pulled over.Authorities identified the wanted man as Jessie Sloan, 39.The Fugitive Location and Apprehension Group was looking for Sloan on a parole violation. They said he failed to report for parole on Dec. 19.
A personal vehicle he was a passenger in was being stopped by law enforcement officer who said Sloan jumped out of the moving vehicle and took off on foot.The manhunt began around 7 p.m., in the Lochbuie area, along Interstate 76.Emergency notification calls were made to about 50 homes in the area, alerting them of the search for Sloan.The Weld County Sheriff's Office confirmed its officers were assisting in the hunt for Sloan. U.S. Marshals are among the agencies participating in the FLAG search.
