Armed Driver Rear-Ends Woman, Then Robs Her

LONE TREE, Colo. -- Police in Lone Tree are looking for the driver of a sport utility vehicle who intentially crashed into a woman and then robbed her when she pulled over.The woman called 911 on Dec. 31 and told dispatchers she was hit by a black SUV at Yosemite Street and Heritage Hills Parkway at 6:20 a.m.When she pulled over, the man in the SUV approached her, pulled out a gun and demanded her valuables, she said.
The woman was not hurt.The armed robber was described as a white man between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black leather bomber jacket and dark jeans. He had salt and pepper facial hair and appeared to be in his mid-40s, she said.Anyone who has any information concerning the case is asked contact Detective Dan Brite of the Lone Tree Police Department at 303-951-7431.
