Coats for Colorado Distributes Coats This Saturday

DENVER -- Denver’s 7 and Dependable Cleaners will be distributing coats Saturday., Dec. 6 that were collected during the 27th annual Coats for Colorado drive.People are welcome to pick up a gently used or new coat at this distribution event.7News on-air personalities and Dependable Cleaners volunteers will be on hand to help distribute coats to the public.
Coats will be available from 8 a.m. to noon at the Dependable Cleaners on 1701 S. Broadway in Denver.In this tough economy, donations for Coats for Colorado have been lower than in years past, but we’ve seen a big surge in the final weeks of the campaign. At last check, we have collected more than 50,000 coats.Coats For Colorado has distributed gently used and new coats to individuals and families in need since 1982.
