Transient Sexually Assaults Woman, Police Say
Woman Invited Transient To Stay With Her

DENVER -- Boulder police arrested a transient they say sexually assaulted a woman last month near the University of Colorado campus.Police said the victim invited Linwood Jones to stay with her temporarily at her home on 10th and Marine streets. On Nov. 25, the victim reported she was assaulted.Jones, 30, was arrested on Saturday after police identified the transient and obtained a warrant, said police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley.
He was booked into the Boulder Jail on a charge of sexual assault. Bail has been set at $150,000, Huntley said.
